MIVO Connect
MIVO Connect is an open and future-proof M-Bus Gateway for energy metering and meter data collection in buildings. Collect data from meters and sensors via M-Bus, Wireless M-Bus, M-Bus over IP and Modbus RTU/TCP, and share it with any system for submetering, billing, energy monitoring or building automation.

MIVO Connect collects data from building meters, submeters and sensors for electricity, water, temperature, humidity and CO₂. Metering data can be shared with any external system for submetering and billing, energy monitoring, building automation or HVAC optimization.
Data can also be stored locally and delivered as Excel reports via e-mail. With MIVO Easy Access, MIVO Connect devices can be securely accessed remotely through the MyMIVO portal.

Energy reports
MIVO Connect can automatically generate and send reports for energy consumption and indoor temperature. This provides property owners and housing associations with a simple solution for consumption-based billing, energy monitoring and indoor climate analysis.
Metering data is delivered in structured Excel files that can be used for cost allocation, billing and temperature analysis. The reporting function is available as an optional license for MIVO Connect.
Design
MIVO Connect is a modular and scalable system for meter data collection. A MIVO Connect Gateway can be expanded with M-Bus Extenders and Wireless M-Bus Extenders to collect data from up to 2,000 wired and wireless meters and sensors.
The system is completely open, allowing metering data to be exported simultaneously to multiple external systems for billing, energy monitoring, analysis and building automation.

MIVO Connect is built on open and standardized communication protocols, giving property owners full control over their metering data. The system is not tied to a specific platform for submetering, billing, energy monitoring or building automation.
Metering data can be shared with multiple systems simultaneously, making it possible to change or add software and service providers without replacing the existing metering infrastructure. This creates a flexible and future-proof foundation for energy data management in buildings.
Software
MIVO Connect includes web-based software for configuring, monitoring and managing connected meters and sensors. The intuitive interface makes it easy to search for devices, check communication status and view current meter readings.
This gives installers and property managers a clear overview of the metering system directly from the MIVO Connect Gateway.

Each scheduled export is completely individual and can be configured with different meters, delivery formats, collection resolution, and report intervals. The intelligent collection engine plans the collection in the most efficient way.
MIVO Connect supports the most common transport protocols: HTTP (S), FTP (S) and MQTT. The unit has predefined report formats and is regularly expanded with new formats.
The internal storage protects against data loss in case of problems with the internet connection or in case of possible data loss in overhead systems.
MIVO Connect has a full M-Bus decoder that has been tested over many years of operation against most meter manufacturers on the market. When delivered to overhead systems, metrics can be normalized to the desired unit and scaled which simplifies integration.
MIVO Connect can integrate with PLC via M-Bus over IP, ModBus RTU as well as ModBus TCP. The built-in web interface makes it easy to configure and generate modbus mappings and associated Excel documentation.
MIVO Connect has a smart modular system, which allows the device to be expanded with new physical interfaces or functions in the software as the future demands it.
